Anna+Anton Olson Legacy Foundation awards $160,000 to strengthen local nonprofits in Taylor, Hutto, and Georgetown.

Georgetown, Texas — The Anna+Anton Olson Legacy Foundation (Anna+Anton) today announced the recipients of its 5th Annual Grant Cycle, awarding over $160,000 to nonprofit organizations serving Taylor, Hutto, and Georgetown. A record 32 applications requested more than $480,000—evidence of both community need and the Foundation’s growing impact.

While Anna+Anton’s annual funding level is typically $150,000, additional funding was approved this year to help offset extraordinary operational challenges faced by many local nonprofits.

Anna+Anton is the only foundation in the area focused exclusively on nonprofit sustainability, investing in the people, systems, and infrastructure that keep community organizations strong and effective.

“Based on feedback from our nonprofit partners, we made a major decision to direct our grants toward strengthening internal operational capabilities rather than launching or expanding programs,” said Larry Olson, founder of the Anna+Anton Olson Legacy Foundation. “Each year, we look for creative strategies that build capacity and long-term sustainability. This year’s grants bring us closer to that goal.”
