The Anna+Anton Olson Legacy Foundation (Anna-Anton) was created on August 5, 2021, as a donor-advised fund.
It has been an exciting time building Anna-Anton’s vision to help strengthen the Georgetown, Hutto, and Taylor communities through a life cycle of caring.
Since its first grant program in November 2021, Anna-Anton has awarded over $500,000 in grants to 52 to nonprofit organizations in the Georgetown, Hutto, and Taylor communities.
The Anna-Anton’s 2022 Grant Program introduced a pioneering, 3-year Emerging Nonprofit Collaboration Grant that focused on management and organizational capacity building for an early-stage nonprofit within the Anna-Anton’s program and community focus areas.
In addition to funding, the Grant also provides management & organizational support, advice, and tools to support the awarded emerging nonprofit during the 3-year grant implementation.
Anna-Anton continues to explore new, innovative ideas to maximize the impact of its grant program, including a growing focus on providing management and organizational capacity building tools and best practices for area nonprofits…allowing them to become stronger, more sustainable organizations that can effectively support their communities in the future.
